The 3 most beautiful beaches of Southern Sardinia for a yacht holiday

beaches Southern Sardinia

Sardinia 2022, this is the most requested destination for lovers of super luxurious holidays, on board yachts for rent, without sacrificing comfort and safety.

Renting a luxury charter is the best solution for an exciting holiday in complete safety. Sardinia is an amazing island, to be discovered, and the best way to experience it in a totalitarian way is on board aluxury boat.

In this short guide we propose a one-week luxury charter, from Saturday to Saturday, for an extra luxury yacht holiday. Here for us the three most beautiful beaches of the southern coast of Sardinia, obviously three perfect destinations for a holiday in complete freedom, full of sun, air and of course sea.

Obviously it is complicated to talk about the most beautiful beaches in Sardinia since all the more than 1,800 kilometers of Sardinian coast could enter the ranking.

We chose these three beaches because they are very beautiful, especially for a yacht holiday, away from mass tourism, to discover the wildest soul of this island.

S’ILLIXI

Capo Ferrato is one of those places that we particularly like. To fascinate are the coves hidden among the rocks, reachable with dirt roads and paths for those arriving by land. A true paradise to reach by boat. Bathing at dawn with the sun rising from the sea is not easily forgotten.

CALA TURNO

Cala Turno is an ideal beach for those seeking tranquility. A splendid expanse of white and soft sand, a pearl of Castiadas, on the south-eastern coast of Sardinia, along the road between Costa Rei and Villasimius. Crystal clear sea and unique location, so much so that it was chosen as the most beautiful beach of 2018 by Skyscanner experts. Cala di Monte Turno owes its name to the rounded profile of the relief that stands out behind it.

The beach is quite exposed to the winds, so much appreciated by surfers and kitesurfing enthusiasts, who come here from all over the world.

IS MOLENTIS

Punta Molentis, just east of Villasimius, is a beach of great prestige and fame, chosen as a set for several advertisements. Punta Molentis attracts crowds of holidaymakers because of the spectacular natural scenery and fine white sand.

On the south-eastern coast of Sardinia, a beautiful beach stands out: Punta Molentis, one of the pearls of Villasimius (and of all southern Sardinia), which you will find along the panoramic provincial road to Castiadas and Costa Rei. With an unmistakable charm, appreciated by everyone for clear water and white sand on one side, a granite quarry on the other.

Curiosity: the name a su molenti, means the donkey: once a means of transport of the material extracted from the surrounding granite quarries.
