What are the pros of a 50+ feet catamaran?
The dimensions, for sure. But when we talk about pros, aboard a 50+ feet catamaran there are too many. First of all the number of cabins: in most cases (from 38 to 45 feet), a catamaran comes with 4 cabins for the guests that accommodate up to 8 adults. From 50 feet, a catamaran usually has a minimum of 5 cabins plus the crew cabins with a private toilet. This means that a larger group can join the party, having more privacy, together with internal and external spaces.
The fly-bridge is one of the main reasons why you should rent a big catamaran: in fact, it allows you to double the spaces usable externally.
What is the best time of the year to book a 50+ feet catamaran?
The charter season in Sardinia goes from May to October, thanks to the favorable weather and mild climate. The peak season is the month of August, as in the rest of the West Mediterranean.
