Porto Rotondo is a fraction of the municipality of
Olbia
, which, together with Porto Cervo, is one of the most important tourist resorts on the island, chosen by Italian and international stars and celebrities.

Its territory covers 500 hectares, bordered by the Gulf of Cugnana and the Gulf of Marinella and includes a super-equipped port that offers over 800 berths. It is located a few kilometers from Olbia, Golfo Aranci, Palau and Arzachena, lending itself as a strategic point to choose on the occasion of a holiday.

Porto Rotondo

A bit of history. Its origins date back to 1964, the year in which the Venetians Luigi and Nicolò Donà dalle Rose decided to found the village and the port that, despite the passing of the decades, has never stopped working. Their idea is to create a meeting place for artists and intellectuals.

A dense coming and going of painters, sculptors, intellectuals has reigned over the years in the small town of Porto Rotondo which, even today, is fully committed to ensuring that the artistic and cultural level maintains very high standards.

The places not to be missed. If you have the desire and the luck to set foot on dry land, then here the places to visit are certainly many. First of all the Church of San Lorenzo, located in the center of the Piazzetta San Marco and the port, highly suggestive and point of arrival of many famous people who, docked the boat, kick off their dream holidays. Not to be missed for a visit to the hinterland are the nuraghi, which determine the history not only of Porto Rotondo but of the whole of Sardinia.

Its beaches: wonderful and crystal clear sea. Do not miss Spiaggia Ira and Spiaggia Contra Ira: located opposite each other they offer suggestive landscapes and breathtaking views and are absolutely worth a visit. Punta Lepre beach, connected to the Yacht Club of Porto Rotondo, one of the most luxurious and famous clubs in the entire Costa Smeralda and an ideal place to enjoy some aperitifs and meet an international star on holiday!
The beaches of Porto Rotondo are all beautiful and have characteristics that make them so unique that every year it is a favorite destination for national and international tourists.
